    Desperately sad news that Vicky Phelan has passed away.

    She was an absolute heroine. In due course, the state should suitably acknowledge her huge contribution to women and health matters in our country.

    My condolences and sympathies to her family.

    Her legacy will hopefully ensure that many other women and their families will not have to go through what she and her's had to.

    Poor woman. Absolutely terrible for her and her family. She did leave legacy that hopefully women won't have go through what she had to.
    The people involved should be in jail.

    Fucking disgrace what's happened to this woman and her family. The people responsible will be shedding crocodile tears and drawing the salaries and pensions for decades. Shameful.

    The horrible and disgraceful postscript to her death is that legislation to provide mandatory open disclosure of anyone's health issues has still not been passed into law.
