I seen a tweet today talking about it so I kept my eye out for a Sunday World on the train when everybody got off in Connolly. I can't quote the sentence word for word but it was along the lines of "It allows Stevie G to play his favourite role, Always the victim". Given that would be a better constructed sentence without the word "Always",I think it's obvious what his intentions here are. Being a sports writer and a manc,he well knows what the connotations of that phrase are towards LFC from other clubs supporters and he's using it to get a reaction,while at the same time leaving himself plausible deniability. It's absolutely disgusting behaviour. It's one thing lacking professionalism and any kind of impartiality,quite another to stoop to such vile levels. The man is scum.
Used to read Sunday World years ago. One of the main reasons I stopped buying was because of this tool. How he even gets a gig as journo is beyond me. Class A prick

Reading the article in work Sun actually made me angry for the day, it was probably one of the most uneducated, biased drivle ever. I real think its about time the Liverpool community did something about him, in a carefully constructed letter of complaint, i know it will probably do nothing but it would highlight the issue to he's employers.Maybe im being over sensitive about the scumbag but imo that piece last sun realy took the biscuit, as babsnadds said the continious used of the victim phrase wasnt a accident.
I was waiting all week for his witty headline and scathing piece on the dubs and their capitulation last Sunday,maybe it'll be in it next week.
