His injury record is worse than Sturridge over last few seasons

Top top player when he is fit for about 15 games a season

    Agree about Clichy

... he probably wouldn't even have to move house, if he swapped over to us.

On the German list, I noticed Huntelaar... going back in time, we'd have been all over him like a hot snot, but think his best is long behind him now (sadly).

From what I know about German football (and it's not a massive amount), I think Arsenal have got the pick of the bunch with Kolasinac, assuming it goes ahead.

    Navas
    Clichy
    Zabaleta
    Toure
    Chupo-Moting
    Seferovic
    Velosi
    De Rossi
    Totti
    Torres
    Pepe
    Elustondo

I'd happily take any of the above to fill a spot in our squad.

Never thought about it mate but I'm sure the FA will make sure that this wont' happen but there's nothing guaranteed at all heading into this whole process.

Yeah I never thought of it either but the FA have no say, It's a government issue, non EU citizens currently need a work permit to work in the EU. Unless the UK Government relax their labor laws then all non UK citizens will require a work permit. Remember an awful lot of Brexit voters did so to stop the influx of migrant workers so the above law being relaxed is unlikely. Law of unintended consequences, people never think of the millionaire footballers as being immigrants!

    LOL :D

It's an important point mate and the FA or the owners or someone have already been lobbying to get footballers excluded from whatever new rules might be brought in etc. I read something about it a while back, will see if I can find it.

Edit: I didn't recall it being ESPN that I read it on, but this links to one story about the owners trying to get something sorted out

This will be a prime example of where money will talk - there will be a "fix" to ensure that football continues along similar lines to how it does at present I'm sure.

There are some serious names on that list, even if a few of them are getting on a bit.... You can just imagine what sort of wages they'll ask be looking for, of moving on free transfers.

David Alaba is the first name to catch the eye, given our defensive needs. You'd expect to get 3-4 years out of him, which could work wonders for us, alongside VD. Although you'd really need to get him now.

Off topic but I was reading about Jean Marc Bosman recently and his life has been shit since the landmark ruling his that bears his name.
Bankruptcy, depression, alcoholism and conviction for assault.
There's a bit of debate about whether some of the players who benefited financially from the Bosman rule should have helped him out.

Should help him out? I'd say no. But it would be a nice thing to do.
