Diogo Jota, Fabinho and Naby Keita all back in training is a big boost. Hopefully Klopp puts Fab back in midfield and tries to get things going up the pitch.
A month down the line and if by miracle the boys are still fit I wonder will Klopp play Davies and Kabak with Fab in midfield or keep Fab in CB along with one of the other 2?
Personally don't think Fabinho sees midfield again until Virgil is back on the pitch, looks to me like Fabinho is his out and out first choice CB at the minute, and I felt that when Matip was even fit.
What a quality player we brought in in 2018. It took him a few months to get going back then, but before long he was nearly the first name on the team sheet. Back in midfield tonight and he has reminded us of the importance he holds to the team. Massive help to the defence.
Thanks be to God Klopp has u turned here. Me missus went back to work on Monday after maternity leave. I was home with 2 of the 3 kids trying to home school feed the baby feed tge eldest who has decided she needs to eat what feels like every 7 minutes. I was uneasy the kids sensed it, they were uneasy the housework wasn't done, the baby is crying, the eldest and me are arguing over a busy at maths question. Mental. I'm watching the clock, she will be home at 3.30, chaos still ongoing. And then she comes home, anxiety level drops, everyone takes a breath. Baby stops crying, the homework gets finished everything is as it was. Bliss. And that is exactly how it felt when Jurgen decided to put Fabinho back into midfield. The grown ups came back and calmed all the hysteria. Bliss.
Since the fulham game fabinho has played CB in 2 league games and both were draws, in the other 5 he was in MF and they were all wins. He has to stay there for the last 3 games no matter what happens at CB.
He looks absolutely knackered, running on fumes at the moment but he's badly needed for the last 2 games.
