Just as well they're the worst away team in the league or they would have beaten us, we're just not clicking at the moment. Always nice to win from behind but we are making everything so hard right now.
That is the definition of winning ugly. The worst game this season where the reds have picked up three points. Do I care right now? Not a bit.
If Harry Kane is out for a while Spurs will be at a major disadvantage. That combined with today's win improves our chances of top 4.
that was a rough watch, big 3 points in terms of the way the season has been going and especially after going a goal down. Burnley really battled well, great work rate and clever delivery of the ball into the box from frees but we just about hung in for the points. Stretches the gap to 4th and important with City away next.
With 3 Ireland Internationals in the team (Brady didn't start today but he should do generally) I hope they are not!
Correct Lionel. Was a patchy performance however Mignolet did well and there were a few good blocks. Fair play to Can. Gets plenty of stick however came up with goods today
Happy with the 3 points, that's about it really! Being bossed at home by Burnley is not the performance I was hoping for but I guess confidence will improve against this type of team the more we beat them! Role on city, YNWA
I'd prefer us win ugly today than what happened at turf moor. Wasn't great but every 3 points between now and end of season will be very hard fought
Absolutely. Drop points today and people say we can't win ugly or dig out a result. Some people don't seem to get any enjoyment no matter what.
Jurgen Klopp talking to the written press confirms that Jordan Henderson will not be available for City, some doubt about being back for Everton too.
