Don't like to read this. 1 of 6 arrested though so none of us can be sure reading that story exactly what happened. But I think we could all be sure that StevieG was off the wagon. I imagine Melwood would be an interesting place to be there today.

The thing is all of them are from Huyton apart from Stevie who lives in Formby as the headline says so I assume it would be him and his mates possibly including his brother with the ages involved.

6 people arrested for assault yet the guy only has minor facial injuries FFS, I'd say what most likely happened was some prick (most likely a bitter) started to give Stevie lip (baby song and all that), his mates told him to **** off, a scuffle started with 1 of Stevies mates and the bitter, the 6 lads walk away and the bloke rings the cops seeing 15 minutes of fame for himself. The police get the blokes 1 sided story and then Gerrard and his 5 mates are arrested a few streets away, Steven Gerrard is to bright a lad to get involved in punch ups on the street, and no doubt it'll come out he done **** all.
Hopefully thats it richy, probably the normal media blowing things out of propportion but thelast thing we need is any charges or court dates hanging over the skipper and the club, reckon it will not come to that !
Police always round up the whole group if an allegation is made of assault, if it was just Gerrard involved he would have made a point of getting Gerrard done and he would have been charged by now, he obviously said a group of blokes and Steven Gerrard was 1 of them so police nicked them all,you just know it was 1 of those inbred bitter ****s though that started it.
