Was "on" the birmingham flight 2.5 hours on the run way to be told it's not travelling. Swineair were as usual "brilliant!" at dealing with customers queries etc.. Did get a full refund but bitterly disappointed not getting to the game now:mad:

just got home now, absolutely fcukin gutted!
Ryanair acted disgracefully this morning in my opinion and questions need to be answered.
i think it's more than a coincidence that we weren't allowed off the plane till 0850,the same time as the check in for the 0930 flight to manchester closed.
i've since discovered that there were empty seats on that plane and some of us could've got on it but they just did not want to deal with the hassle.
really hope the lads win now today cos Fowler knows i need cheering up....

Same old ryanair. Surely at this stage when they say they are starting to ground flights they should have spare capacity and be able to put on another plane.Fcuk all good to the people trying to get to the match telling them the flight will leave around 3 today.

Lads,if anyone is stuck with physical tickets there's still a chance you could get rid of them but you'd want to act fast.
if there's someone already over there that you trust txt them your credit card/fancard details and address and get them to write out a note saying that you authorise the named person(your mate) to collect your tickets that never arrived in the post on your behalf.
they'll give him/her duplicates and hopefully they'll be able to sell them and get you your money back.
that's what i was going to do but luckily i met Pam before she left for Manchester....

Apparently there were 20 free seats on the Liverpool flight and 15 on the Manc flight

Liamo - hope the young lad is ok, hopefully the result made up for it....

Anyone know the best way to get a refund from them???? Would it be better to go to Dublin airport and go to their desk as opposed to writing to them?? The reason i ask is my flight cost 100 euros so i'll be f**ked if i am letting them have it. Stoke flight next week better go!
