satillite broadband query?

    lads, im moving to an area of carlow where i know i wont be able to get broadband, my only option is satillite broadband (digiwed, aptus, imagine etc)

    has anyone had any good / bad experience of satillite broadband? any recommendations?

    There have been a good few negative experiences posted about imagine, suggest you might be wise to give them a swerve mate....

    I use a digiweb dish for my work broadband and other than very foggy days I have to admit it good. Mind you I pay for an 8mb duel un contended line on their cambrisge link so its a tiny little bit stronger than home broadband ....

    But as a company supplying wireless broadband, they're not bad.

    Can you not get NTL through the cable in thems parts?

    will be in lime grove estate near village, because of all the trees around there, digiweb metro isnt an option or wireless, only option in lime grove seems to be satillite, pain! digiweb can provide satillite and a company called APTUS get mentioned a bit too?

    i rang upc (who used to be ntl?) and they only do tv in palatine, carlow

    what did u pay for installation for digiweb dish? what you pay per month?

    anyone got experince of three or vodafone mobile broadband? what kind of speeds where you getting?
