FSG are in a serious dilemma now. i think we all agree that they are "money men", and imo, thats fair enough. Surely they'll be torn between sacking him, or backing him. on the one hand you sack him ,you then incur the obvious pay offs and subsequent new manager find. but on the other hand do you back a man that has clearly blown £50 million for you already, and in the process, the man has then cemented the team in mediocrity? personally, id sack the spoofing **** and that short wearing eejit Pascoe on May 19th, then do my damndest to appoint a top european coach. Somebody with true pedigree. Then its carte blanche. just like we should have done the day we sacked Rafa, but instead we've meandered from mickey mouse appointment, to mickey mouse appointment
Luis Suarez @luis16suarez We'll give it all in Anfield! Together we can! A remontar en Anfield! Todos juntos podemos!
l agree with you 100% and we'll need loads of Rocky next Thurs. Gerrard as Balboa l reckon. I agree with you 100% when you say " Basically I'm saying the mentality of belief hunger fight etc is wanting". I think a lot of fans are starting to think that.
firstly i didnt see the game as i was out and normally im loathe to comment but from following twitter and some texts i got and looking at things over the season its a good clear out of players we need.too many seem content to just pick up the wages and go thru the motions and not perform.rodgers has his flaws but a good chunk of these players have ben underperforming since 2009
Players wearing the liverbird should have the mentality to be running through brick walls and wanting the next brick wall to get the fcuk out of the way
I am more than an hour late coming into this thread as I was watching on the +1 channel on ITV. While naturally very disappointed with the result tonight. It could have been so different if Luis Suarez had taken one of his many chances. Maybe I am deluded but I am always optimistic and am still hopeful that we can progress in this competition. Sadly though I am not sure if the 'famous' Anfield atmosphere is enough any longer to strike fear and doubt into the opposition. Our last campaign went out with a whimper on Paddy's day 2011 against Braga. Would be surprised if we are not the ITV pick again next Thursday night for match coverage.
Hearing about a good few lads after been battered coming back from the match Picking off very small groups cowards behaviour
They done over a lad (5 against 1 off the metro) with the Joe Corrigan RIP flag, took it off him and hung it upside down in their end, cops ended up taking it down. Should be tasty next Thursday night
Someone mentioned that they saw a Liverpool banner upside down in the home end earlier. That explains it so. Had planned on making the trip.Relieved now that I decided against it.
Yes I was wondering what the fcuk at the time and was thinking it was taken of one of our lads Cowardly fcukers
Didn't notice it myself but right scumbags to attack someone on their own.Their lot should expect a frosty reception next week.
No they don't. A lot of posters here where unconvienced Rodgers was the man for the job from day one and with good reason. Everyone wants him to do well but sometimes the reality is staring you in the face that it ain't gonna happen. How in gods name anyone at FSG decided a manager with little or no track record of success was the man to take on one of the biggest jobs in world football is beyond me. Honestly i don't think they have a fcukin clue what they are doing.
I've wondered that from the start, I know Martinez told them no but who the fcuk decided to get rid of Kenny for Rodgers, it was a total shot in the dark, it may still work out but for me the alarm bells went up with the lazy transfers and the attempted ones, fcuk me Allen is shit isn't he.
