Checked out trains and its around four hours from both Naples and Rome. If the FAI had any brains they would organise some chartered flights.

Well lads if you're looking to do via the UK Standsted do a direct flight to Bari.

    http://www.flycheapo.com/flights/bari

Its a fair treck across from Naples to Bari too, Rome is even worse. If I was going I would do it this way if possible. Plus the airport is a stone throw away from where the stadium is situated in the City itself. More convenient IMO.

good idea in theory except it involves too many days off work as there's no suitable flights available on the days either side of matchday

Trying to price this ourselves. Looking very pricey from here. Never miss an away and I dont intend to do it now. I will be giving Rome a miss if we get to the final. This, Bulgaria and Cyprus are my football priorities and its gonna cost. Of course, we when qualify, I will have to re-mortgage the house.

    Hi Sportsmad

Where did you find out about this operation ?

Are they ticket touts, or just specialists in providing flights ?

Do they have any offices that someone could call into, to book flights etc ?

    Thanks.

Quick question...buddy of mine is going to the match and has booked into the Green Isle Hotel. What's the easiest way for him to get back out there after a feed of beer that night? Am I right in saying that the nitelink 69n goes that way? If so where's there easiest place to jump on?

Thanks for the tips!! (and he's a red, so be nice;))

    ticket for Italy v Ireland

lads me and a group are travelling to Bari on the YBIG Charter plane got the seats for €395 and now got the match tickets for €10 + €2 handling charge from thr FAI
Flew with 747 for the Montenagro game and got ripped off paid over €700 for 2 days and the hotel was a dump.
Saving quite a few bob when we add up the costs think its about €250 of a saving which is badly needed
hope the weather is good and i can wear me wife beaters roll on Bari.
