I think this thread pretty much sums up who the muppets are and who really supports our team.

I know this is slightly off topic, but does anyone know what kind of numbers were booing last night? It seemed to me (from the TV) to be a significant amount of people.

I dont know how we resolve this problem and I suspect that already the players arent looking forward to the Hull game. I just hope that this is the end of it.

Bang on! Too many "Supporters" going to matches and sitting on their hands, quiet as a mouse for the 90 minutes and then start fcuking booing at the end. We don't need the likes of them

    Very good point !

Outside of The Kop, the grounds are almost silent ...

Anyone here ever hear of The 12th Man ?

    - thats where LFC is weakest these days, regardless of what any of us may say about needing better backs etc. No disrespect to those (particularly in The Kop) who do make the effort, but it's a long way from 40,000 supporters doing their bit.

If Liverpool fans want a good boo, then they can go locate Hicks and Gillett and boo their brains out. Knock yourselves out then lads.

I must say I can understand frustration, but you just don't boo your team, especially not Liverpool. You can bang your head off a wall, f and blind to yourself and rant about the bad performance, but you don't boo.

I was negative after the West Ham game but I think it's important to take one day at a time. Showing frustration is fine, but just remember come the next game that LFC have another 3 points up for grabs and they need our support. It's like having a row with a loved one, pisses you off at the time, but then you put it behind you and move on, because you still love them at the end of the day. The same with Liverpool, they're still our team and as people have said, feck it, we're still top. We had a two or three game bad patch as we did at the beginning of the season, but in between we've played some excellent stuff, we need a bit more investment in january, but all in all, things are going well.

didn't see all the game yesterday, only caught the last 25 mins, but from what i saw the 7,000 or so Lpool fans there were a credit to the club, came across loud and proud.
i guarantee you even if they'd lost yesterday there would've been no booing...

The atmosphere sounded great at the end alright - after Alonso broke the deadlock. There were groans while it was 0-0 and I read a post on another site where someone said there were boos near him at half time.

Sadly, I think we're only 1 bad result away from hearing boos again - although I hope I'm wrong!

I think in game threads should be banned on here.
I mean who wants to hear the opinion of someone typing away while the match is being played?
There's a few who only log on especially for it

If you don't like those threads, don't read them. It's very easy. Why spoil other peoples fun just cos you don't like it.

I enjoy the weekend threads here during matches. I only have online updates and the occasional vid stream to watch most games so it's nice to have an ould chat in here with other reds.

Well I nearly got f*cked out of the Submarine for Singing too much, thats my claim to fame lately with Johnny. Manx Barman gave out to me for singing liverpool songs during the manx match after the Liverpool one on Sat.

Never Mind, just be louder next week. By the way has anyone noticed that the Manx have a tough week against Chelsea in Jan and then another match I think 3 days later?

I'll be very very veerrry happy if its a draw in that match and we pick up 3 points!
