Out this Thursday already. I’d be looking to play City as early in the season as possible away from home to beat them and set down a marker. Will take a guess at Villa home first game of the season
Yeah would like to get City at the Etihad asap too. Beating them twice (Charity shield) in the first few weeks of the season would set down that marker nicely. For some reason I'll go for Watford away first up.
I've a funny feeling wolves at home will be first up after being last match last season. Arsenal only one of top 6 in the first 4 or whatever it is before the first international break.City early October just before second international break again
Wonder how the 10 day break in Feb will impact on fixtures, is it just taking time from the cup competitions or will the league run for an extra week? I guess it will be Klopp's time for warm weather training..
Premier Sports have those rights for the ROI as well as the 33 Premier League Saturday fixtures. The channel will be available as add on to a Sky subscription. No metion of the pricing structure yet.
We are probably overdue to be away on either the opening day or the last day this season. Staff utd at bramall lane
Are you talking about the 3pm games that were on eir last year been on premier sports? Needing 3 subscriptions a bit of a joke. 4 if ya want the Stephens day and the mid week games!!
The 3pm games were Sky last season. Yes three broadcasters is a crazy situation (not four), it was three broadcasters in the three year cycle that ended in season 2016 but at least then a sub to eir meant the BT channels were bundled it with that deal. Maximum of 29 matches per club on UK tv goes up to 30 next season. Very hard to see any long term viability for Eir sports going forward with BT Sports ending their distribution deal with Eir. One think I liked about the fixtures in the season just finished was that there was four matches before the first international break. Looks like it will just be three again this season.
Mind blank there on my part about sky having the 3pms last year sorry. Im a bit out of the loop on this is bt going to be separate from eir sports now?
First “leak” of the fixture has Liverpool away to Burnley at 5.30 Saturday. I’m sure be a few of these doing rounds tomorrow.
Yes, BT Sports in Ireland will be distributed by Sky going forward. I think the date that Eir lose the distribution rights is August 1st.
The 'leaked list' would look a lot more credible if all ten fixtures on the opening weekend were scheduled to kick off at 3pm on Saturday August 10th. EDIT The list has also the wrong times for the Sunday kick off's as well.
NORMALLY THE FIXTURES ALL STATE SATURDAY AT 3.00 then the telly crowd get their hands on them, unless thats changed this year I think these are fake. Soz for shouting
