Just noticed that this season Uefa are again doing the quarter-final and semi-final draw on the same day, unlike last season. Of course still need to get past Bayern first for this post to be relevant. https://www.uefa.com/uefachampionsleague/matches/format/
Would have thought it was nailed on for the Sunday based on Chelsea reaching the Europa Q-Final on the Thursday but on current form they may not get there
Got mine for €23 on the first flight on the Sunday. If the game is on the Sunday I'll have 4 spare seats on the Saturday flight if anyone is interested as I booked both Saturday & Sunday morning flights as they were so cheap.
Not sure pal but for €17 i took the chance. Sky will want to show it i presume and Sunday is the main slot..
Will be interesting to see how tomorrow's match goes for Chelsea against Malmo. Chelsea are on a disastrous run of matches away from home and have two huge matches after each of the two legs of the Europa League for them against both Manchester sides. First competitve match for Malmo for 63 days.
Indeed they are. But some unexpected results can happen in the CL, emphasised by Man Utd losing at home under the new manager last night! I would be very surprised if Chelsea don't go through. But shocks can (and do) happen!
But was it a shock though? Before the match I never once thought Utd would win last night. I said they'd be extremely lucky to get a draw from it.
I replied to you in the 'Todays Matches' thread, so as not to further clog up this thread with off topic discussions.
Long time ago, but I recall Spurs playing Chelsea at Stamford Bridge on a Saturday morning kick-off after playing away in Spain in the Europa League the Thursday night before (think it was Valencia away they had on the Thursday). Chelsea had CL match the following Tuesday so game went ahead a scheduled on the Saturday morning.. You could potentially have a similar scenario this time around?
