I for one am delighted to see the investigators actually chasing down the folks involved pre-tournament as typically we only see these reviews post events. It would great to see him get charged. https://www.bbc.com/sport/football/48673461
Listening to a few podcasts this week where guests had to been Doha to view the facitilties and prices out there for fans. sounds like it’s going to be absolute sh*te. -no drink except in hotels and they will mostly by taken up by actual teams and FIFA -If lucky enough to get in, a pint 15 quid -Accommodation for some fans will be tents -Others will be coming from Saudi which is even more minus craic - The fees for cafes/bars to get Bein sports for tournament are outrageous and hotel rooms also won’t likely have games so if you are out there, it will be very hard to see games -There is a fan park that holds about 40k, it’s open from 6.30 to 12 and only serves Bud -There is some all day rave place that serves drink but it’s 75 quid before you even buy a 20 quid pint. -Aside from the football side, there is nothing to do. -If you take your shirt off in public, you could be arrested Been a dream to go to a World Cup with Ireland but I wouldn’t go to this mess
FIFA are corrupt on a level that even with all of the facts laid bare in front of you makes it hard to believe it could possibly be true. They're filthy from top to bottom and this world cup is like an exhibition of exactly how dispicable they really are. I hate that they're in complete control of the game we all love so much.
