It's cracking when you get the IPTV setup up and running. It's just as good on the Smart IPTV on my LG & Samsung TV's user friendly switching between channels plenty of channel choice across all TV categories with loads of extras from USA, etc. I haven't bothered with a Firestick, as it works great on my TV. The firestick has the advantage of mobility to bring places with you but my iPad Pro covers that scenario.
Yeah but sadly I'm a bit of a ludite on this situation and my TV is only about as smart as myself so the firestick was my only option! Have to say I'm very impressed with the whole setup, he put a few other things like Morpheus, Titaniam and something called Cyberflix on the stick for me too, seems to cover all the bases to be honest!
An absolute game changer the IPTV, it's nothing like the old streaming boxes I used to use, had an unbelievable HD broadcast from the states, can't believe I took this long to check this out
You need to stick an app on to it called stb emu, it's not available on the Amazon app store so you have to do a bit of jiggery pokery to get it on but nothing major. Then you just need to find an IPTV provider and give him your details, pay your sub and away you go.
Been meaning to get one for a while but finally bit the bullet and bought a mag box for my IPTV sub. The fire sticks are good but these things are dedicated IPTV machines and hardwired to a modem the service is flawless. Well worth the extra few quid in my opinion.
Mag 322/323 is the one I got and it was €90. I think there are a good few options but I needed one that worked with scart so was recommended that one, but they all do the same job.
Wonder if anyone can help with a problem my friend is having, I ordered him a fire stick a few weeks ago and it was working fine up to yesterday but then he said it stopped working. He brought it over to my place and I hooked it up to my tv and internet and it's working fine. He took it home this evening and has tried it on 3 different TV's and isn't working. Anyone experience this before, I'm absolutely baffled?
Have you tried installing a VPN blocker on it, see if it might be something to do with his IP address or ISP even ?
Invested in one of these today and so far I am well impressed.Absolute bargain at 36 quid in Argos.Have kodi on it with exodus installed just wondering what is the best one for the sports? Also are there any decent add ons for the live tv channels?Just the standard Irish channels and the BBC’s and itvs?
Get yourself an IPTV subscription mate, well worth the investment. Haven't used Kodi in a long time, has it got any better lately?
I've been using it a bit more in recent months, tried a few builds as each came with different links ... actually reasonably good now, but a bit slow compared with the non kodi apps for example.
Dedicated IPTV subscription is the way to go. I moved from a MAG254 box to a 4K firestick and it's even better. Haven't missed a match I wanted to watch in a long time. Both are easy to set up.
Finally ordered the adapter capable to connect directly to the router Just wondering has anybody else and is it worth the bother Tks
I’d be interested with Iptv But probably to put on the My lg smart tv than my fire stick Take it that’s doable
I haven't used the hard wired connector for my firestick but I have decent Wi-Fi. But the hard wired connector is probably always more stable.
Looking for help - my Amazon firestick has frozen - unplugging and plugging in again does not clear. Holding down the main circle(select) button and the play button at the same time for more than 5 seconds does nothing - the other buttons do nothing. I put new batteries in the remote, but that makes no difference. Does anyone know anything else I can try?
